About us
Welcome to Frankie’s Friends, a warm, trustworthy and dedicated pet-care service built from genuine love. We’re here to give your VIPs (Very Important Pets!) the care, attention and comfort they deserve. Whether it’s daily walks, home visits or overnight stays, we treat every animal as if they were our own — with kindness, patience and plenty of cuddles.
Our services
We always give your pet the one-to-one time and care they deserve.
Pet Sitting – £30 per day
(per pet, if additional in household)
Overnight Sit – £45 per 24 hrs*
(first pet, + £30 per additional pet in household)
Dog Walking – £15 per hour
(first pet, +£10 per additional pet in household)
Drop-Ins – £10 per 30 mins visit
(per pet, if additional in household)
*Overnight sits cover a 24-hour period. Any additional time needed on the final day will be charged at our Pet Sitting day rate (per pet).

Our story
In 2023, after a fantastic career with BA, Char gave up her corporate life to follow her passion and work with animals every day. This involved a move to the North-East, where her partner’s family are from. Surrounded by countryside and wagging tails!
Char is a regular volunteer at Oaktree Animals in Hexham. Her pet services have grown from strength to strength, solely on word-of-mouth referrals and recommendations.
Whether it’s walks, cuddles or company, we treat every pet with the same care and respect we’d give our own. Our goal is simple, to provide personalised care for your VIP.
About Frankie
Frankie was our handsome Miniature Schnauzer and the heart behind Frankie’s Friends. He filled our lives with joy, love and laughter every single day. Sadly we lost him to illness when he was just six years old - far too soon. But his buoyant spirit and brave heart continue to inspire everything we do.
Caring for Frankie, especially through his illness, taught us patience, empathy and the importance of understanding each pets unique needs. Because of him, we have the confidence and compassion to care for dogs who might need that little bit of extra attention, reassurance or special care. Frankie may no longer be by our side, but his paw prints will always guide Frankie’s Friends - where every pet is treated with the same love and devotion he gave us.
